Le Challenge- Nature
I have just been able to squeeze in an entry to this month's Le Challenge - I came out of hospital for the third time in two months on Monday. I am pretty desperate to get back to normal, and crafting is getting back to normal for me. Before I was into hospital this time, I was planning on doing some printing for this month's challenge, but I just haven't had the time or energy to commit to it.
My eldest son, Albert started his GCSEs on Friday, so I have made him a four leafed clover good luck card. He is a lovely bright boy, but he has found it very stressful without me and revising for his exams too.
My Sissix Big Shot gave me four perfect heart shaped leaves (not sure what I used to do before My Big Shot!). I added a few stitches with embroidery thread for the paler ring that you get on clover.
I once found a four leaf clover when I was a child, on holiday in Austria, and kept it for years. Unfortunately, I think I may have left it in the attic of my old house.

Lovely idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by.
DeleteThat's a reallyl ovely idea for a card. Simple but ever so beautiful at the same time. I hope your son's GCSEs go well for him.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I am still struggling with energy levels, so anything I make has to be quick and easy at the moment.
Deletelovely card. Exams are so stressful, and girls tend to let the stress out much more than boys! Hope the gcses go well for him.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much .He is coping okay at the moment but he is getting lots of small treats too!
Deleteso sorry you have been so unwell. I am sure just being at home will be great support for your son during his stressful GCSE's. Its a simple but lovely card :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to be back home with my family. Both my children have found it hard without a Mum being around.
DeleteI search for four leaf clovers all the time :-) I have quite a few of them. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteI think searching for four leaf clovers was something my parents suggested to stop us getting bored - it certainly worked. Thanks for your comment.
DeleteLove this card. Hope your feeling better soon and getting back to your crafting
ReplyDeleteThank you - I am fairly desperate to get on with sewing a dress up that I have been planning in between hospital.
DeleteReally sweet! I hope he does well and you are feeling better very soon :)
ReplyDeleteHe is finding some more challenging than others, but the good weather has also cheered him up no end.
