Bakelite Museum
Yesterday, my husband and I had one of those rare moments where both boys were off with friends so we seized the opportunity to go to the, somewhat bizarre, Bakelite Museum in Williton. It is a personal collection and is an absolute treat to anyone who doesn't like traditional museums. Here you can even rummage through drawers!
I would love to have sat and read this "Good things to cook and eat"! |
The inside of the caravan - step back in time. |
This is my favourite - a shelf full of Homepride Freds |
And, the tea and cake is really yummy - you can sit indoors in a sweet little cafe with bone china cups and bakelite handled cutlery.

Just found your blog through DeeDee's Vintage Delights - The bakelite museum is great isn't it? We have been many times over the years as Patrick is a friend, and often drank tea from his vintage cups too!
