What Happened to the Lavender

A few weeks ago I cut and dried some lavender from my garden. It has been in the airing cupboard since then so it is thoroughly dry. This evening I made a little lavender filled heart. Bear in mind that I don't have a sewing machine and had to hand sew it. I drew a heart freehand on a napkin, cut it out and used it as a template for the second half. I sewed round from the point at the bottom, around the top and left a gap.

I pushed some lavender into the hole with some fabric scaps until full. Then sewed on some buttons and a bow. It's not perfect. Obviously, if I had a sewing machine the stitches would be much tighter. It took me about an hour this evening to make this tiny little heart!
