The Christmas Fair
Just returned from my first fair with some money in my pocket, despite my son wanting to buy lots of cakes from the cake stall! I wasn't really sure what to expect and although I didn't have a steady stream of customers, I did make fourteen sales, and a couple of other people took my card. Definitely encouraging!
What I did find strange was that no-one looked at any of the jewellery on the display stands, only the items flat on the table - I wonder if that is normal?
I've not done a stall yet but have heard that its easier to attract people over if the display has hight, so who knows? Glad to hear it went well 14 sales is fab!
ReplyDeleteIt does make me think, what was I waiting for! Plan for next year, is to book more fairs.
