Puzzle Wood

Okay, so my collage isn't great, but these are all photos that I have taken at Puzzle Wood near Coleford, Forest of Dean. This place is absolutely fantastic, especially if you are first to arrive, like we were. It looks like a normal wood from the outside but on the inside...it is magical and like no wood you have ever seen before.

There is moss and lichen everywhere and gnarled trees and twisting paths and bridges guiding you through the wood, and to the right and left of you are deep rocky caverns called scowles which are the result of a network of ancient collapesd caves.

See it on TV: the new Doctor Who episodes 4 and 5 are shot in Puzzle woods and so is Merlin.
