Freeform Wire Pendants with Pearls
I have been inspired by the Hammered Freeform links designed by Linda Jones in an american magazine called Step by Step Wire Jewelry (summer 2009 edition). I have not worked with wire before, but decided to take the plunge in creating some much looser freeform pendants (almost a wire scribble).
I wrapped some 22 gauge wire around the end of an ice-cream scoop several times and then loosely threaded the the remaining wire through and around the ring, incorporating a loop for hangin the pendant. I left a tail of wire outside the ring and hammered the main ring. Then I threaded on a Swarovski pearl (I had a fantastic delivery service from Bluestreak beads), and in the top pendant, I also threaded on some Swarovski silver shade.
