Sewing Patterns

Inspired by the Great British Sewing Bee, and by the moderate success of my dress, I have bought two more patterns:

The first is one by Eliza M's Vintage Style Sewing, and is an Alma wiggle skirt. She claims that they are suitable for beginners, so I am really hoping that it will work out well. I love the fact that you have to order your actual size, rather than the standard 6-12.

The second is Simplicity pattern 1880 for a shirt dress and wrap dress, with different sleeve options. I have failed to find a shirt dress that looks good on the High Street, so I am hoping that this will the answer.

I would be interested to hear from anyone that has sewn something from Eliza M. Her retro dress patterns are amazing!

Love Mrs Jones x
