The Frog

I love browsing other blogs, and whilst doing so, found this really easy tutorial on how to make Freddie the Frog, on Owl and the Sewing Cat's blog. It includes a downloadable template and instructions. It would be perfect for beginners, or even for children (with a little assistance).

I particularly wanted to make one because my children loved a similar frog that my Mum has, and because he has his uses (propping open recipe books for example) - not just a pretty frog!

Although I made mine by machine, it could easily made by hand, with small stitches so his insides don't come out! I stuffed mine with some out of date lentils but you could use rice any other small dried pulse.
