Folksy Friday: Little Red Riding Hood

I think Little Red Riding Hood is my favourite fairy story. There were two many Red Riding items in Folksy to include them all, but here are some of my favourites!

What I've been up to!

I feel that I have sadly neglected my blog apart from a couple of Folksy Fridays and my trip to the zoo! I have spent a lot of April making, photographing and listing on the daily listing club on Folksy, which has resulted in a lot better looking shop, than it was a month previously. Above, are some of the items listed this month.

I have a stall at the school fete in June, so I am making lots of extra stock for that, and I am conscious that I need to make a lot more for children. I have got some lovely Jelly Baby and Love Heart beads to use.

Check my shop out at www.folksy.com/shops/mrsjoneshandmadejewellery

A Hot Day at the Zoo

In the glorious sunshine, I went with my family, my nephews and niece and my Dad and his partner to Bristol Zoo. I had forgotten what a good day out was like:

My Mothers Day

My nine year old son made me this lovely card for Mothers Day, bless him. Looks like he raided my craft supplies box! My 13 yr old had a late invitation to a sleepover yesteday, and I imagine I won't be receiving a card from him. However, he did buy me some lovely white tulips yesterday.
Annoyingly, our cat Atticus likes the tulips too, so he wouldn't get out of the picture!
I have two things that I want to do today: 1, Plant a lilac tree in the garden and 2, Find somewhere to have a cream tea!! Happy Mothers Day to all Mums!
