Peridot Bow Bracelet For Sale

Just listed in my Folksy shop: http://www.folksy.com/items/1575905-Peridot-glass-bow-bracelet?shop=yes

Vintage inspired cards

I love these black vinyls from Papermania - they look like silhouettes. I have used aperture card blanks with bird themed paper in these cards. They have an austere look of Victoriana about them.
The cutesy cupcake card has a more fifties kitsch feel to it. Now I just need to decide whether to list them on Folksy or use them myself!

Interview and Carousel

(The image is totally unrelated to this post, but a post is no fun without a photo!)

Blog Interview
My interview has gone live on the Mosaic Tree blog today. Maggie and Annie from Mosaic Tree have published a series of interviews with craftspeople in Somerset. Today's post looks at the work of the Musgrove family and their willowwork and the local gems in Hidden Somerset. To read my interview click here, or to read the whole series go to http://www.mosaictree.blogspot.com/.

Craft Carousel
Well it's my last day on the Carousel today. The idea is that if you have a shop, you can replace my slot on the Carousel by buying anything from my Folksy shop. You then get one week's ride on it! They have had 507 sales on it so far!

Cute Animal Cards

A little departure from making jewellery with these cards. I have listed the elephant on Folksy, and the others will follow over the next couple of days, and they are a bargain at £1.25!

Just Peachy!

Bracelet made with Peach Swarovski pearls, glass beads and tiny little Swarovski silver shadow crystals. The bracelet has a fun flower toggle clasp, and is for sale on my Folksy shop. http://www.folksy.com/items/1522189-Peach-Swarovski-Pearl-and-Crystal-Bracelet-?shop=yes

It's lovely to see all the blossom out on the trees, and it is inspiring me to make a lot of pastel coloured jewellery.

Mothers Day Commission

I had a commission from a lovely lady at work for two Swarovski necklaces and two pairs of earrings to match. All the findings are sterling silver. This heart is heliotrope, and the other is peridot. Apologies about the quality of the photographs, too impatient to get the light right!

I can't wait to see what she thinks of them.

A Glut of jewellery

Well, I said it was a quiet week for me, and I have made a lot of bracelets, earrings and necklaces. So, to start: a big bold Barbie pink ballet shoes bracelet for a little girl.
I made a couple of variations on this simple Czech firepolish lagoon bracelet.  The other has a silver disk in the centre. Loving the sparkle!
Haven't made many necklaces lately, but the rainforest druks inspired me to do a whole green mix necklace. It sits really nicely just under the collarbone too.
And finally, an elongated acrylic heart bracelet with a heart toggle. Too late for Valentines Day, but not too late to show your mother that you love her!

I am also considering doing a blog giveaway, but I need a few more followers first.

Mint

This week has been very quiet so far, and because I have a jewellery party planned for the 17th March, I have been able to make lots of jewellery! I am going to try and make at least one thing every day from now until the 17th! And I have made a good start with the earrings (Previous post) and this necklace made of huge mint glass beads and equally large rectangular chain.

Sixteen more things to make...

New earrings and not so new earrings

A firm favourite: Swarovksi heart earrings in fuschia AB.
Swarovksi crystals and drops on Trinity Brass component.
